Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the SAO (Spec) independently perform a board range of technical and analytical accounting functions within the unit. The incumbent utilizes the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS), State Disbursement Unit (SDU), and Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) systems to reconcile accounting activities, conduct research and analysis, and perform a variety of accounting functions in accordance with State and departmental policies, procedures, and financial management practices.
